Problems With Sauerbraten After Editing Source Code...

Anything I modify in the source code of Sauerbraten, I get an error message when I try to start the game which says:

"The procedure entry point_gxx_personality_v0 could not be located in the dynamic link library libstdc++6.dll."

And after downloading the libstdc++6.dll and placing it into the "bin" folder I can start Sauerbraten but after if I try to click on any options in the menu the game will quit, how do I fix this?
