What about mod CUBE2 for visualisations (architecture)?
- disable all weapons
- singleplayer only walking, jumping game mode
- multiplayer walking, jumping game mode
- open close doors (or items)

Hmm it will be supercool to have such 3D engine. For architecture and design concepts or school projects showcase.
With opensource CAD (free-cad) with STL export, blender3D (stl read) and md3 exporter for blender it will be ultimate 3D suite for architecture, design, mechanical engineering (car visualisation etc etc).

I am no coder. Just 3D artist and musician. So please help me.

The sauerbraten code actually is not thaaat hard to understand if you grasp the basic concepts of programming in general and C++ in particular.
Also, for the singleplayer-part: already tried to load a map in coop-edit of classic SP mode (assuming no monster ents are added) and tried hidehud? You can use it with /hidehud 1 and /hidehud 0 or alternatively by pressing 5 while hovering in edit mode.
