It's because its been recorded in a 4:3 aspect ratio. If at all anything, I wouldn't say its squished.

Just use your favorite video tools to compress the files after you've captured them. If you're after a free option then try ffmpeg.

Looks like someone didn't get the joke. :P The point is he's trying to tell him to do something fairly complicated without telling how to do it

Cancer isn't funny.

Again, you still don't get the joke.
I wasn't looking for something funny or unfunny just for something to make a good example of the point.

I get your point, I just don't think that cancer is a very funny subject.

I mentioned tumors but not cancer.

Not get out and leave me alone.

As the OP hasn't asked follow up questions, either they worked it out, or we scared them off.

This could have turned into a useful thread about how to compress sauerbraten movie files, tools to use, etc - but no.

Yes, but the point is we all can expect him asking "okay, so how do I compress those files?"

If OP hasn't figured it out yet, I highly recommend SUPER video encoder. The GUI can be a bit much at first, it just takes some messing around to get used to it.

or use VirtualDub.

i do think you'll need to download the DivX plugin and check the how-to stuff to see how to work that program.
