Can someone point me to a good place to start out with C++ and OpenGL? The NeHe tutorials seem outdated. I'm used to SDL and have done complex stuff with it (Lazyfoo tutorials)

Find some version of the OpenGL programming guide that covers at least GLSL. Ignore employing any bits covering the fixed-function pipeline which is now deprecated, but at least study them vaguely to see where the library came from and why it got rid of that stuff. From there, just play with stuff, look at code, etc. Really, though, many newer parts of OpenGL won't make much sense unless you look back on the old parts that came before.
