Hi @ all!
As the title already states, is it possible to have 2 skyboxes? I would really love it if it were possible to have the normal skybox surrounding the map, and an area within the map where you use the "skybox texture" with a different skybox... I have the feeling that it's probably not possible, but I thought I'd ask anyways :)
Kind regards,
K1

If you would like to add clouds, use the cloud-commands wich can be found in the docs.
Just assign the skybox-textures into your map's config-file is an option to have 2 skyboxes into 1 map...

You have skyboxes and cloudboxes. Note that cloudboxes (NOT cloudlayers) are completely opaque, so they must have alpha channel to blend in with the skybox.
Currently the only cloudbox i know is Kenon which SkiingPenguins released with his big skybox pack.

Its possible, but it only works with shaders enabled.
(note: The last time I played with it was 2 or 3 versions ago. So try that for your self to be sure)

You may use an envmap-item with a perfect clean envmap texture - plain white with envworld shader enabled and "setshaderparam envscale 1 1 1". This requires also a box around the envmap-item textured with the required skybox. This is pretty low-res. See envmap entity in editing reference.
Another solution is a sleep-loop which checks player-position using getcampos command. You have to set the desired skybox via skybox-command then. This is pretty much hack and might not work in the future.
