by Quin on 03/15/2011 16:34, 12 messages, last message: 03/20/2011 06:32, 1889 views, last view: 05/01/2024 10:49

After a lot of hard work, the Red Eclipse Team is proud to present their first release, "Ides Edition" is now available as of Tuesday the 15th of March 2011.

Among the things you can enjoy in Red Eclipse are:

* Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Defend the Flag, Bomber Ball, with tons more options combining mutators.
* Lots of stuff to tweak. Create your own spin on gameplay or weapons using server side variables.
* Agile gameplay which includes impulse dashing, wall running/kicking, melee attacks, and a jetpack mutator.
* The builtin editor from Cube Engine 2 that allows you to cooperatively edit maps online in real time.

If you like the game, please consider helping us raise the AU$294 for the creation of our new player model, which we have freely licensed under CC-BY-SA. Donate at our website, http://www.redeclipse.net/donate

We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we've enjoyed creating it.

Do you have any error reports?

You can find error messages in the Console app. (you can use spotlight to find it)
If the error message is similar to the below, pastebin that file and link us.
crash report written to: /Users/$USERNAME/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/redeclipse_universal.crash.log

Well, that's good.. I guess. If you can still find a crash report, I'd like to have a look in case there is some other bug we need to fix.

I can get you a command list, but no documentation.
