Coop Campaign

Well I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I'm wondering if there is a possibility for multiplayer campaign in future releases of Cube 2. I think it would be awesome to have that feature.

It's been planned since Cube. Hasn't happened yet. ;)

But if you'd like to develop it, by all means! (Hint: you could probably use the bots as a starting point.)

The Left4Dead style mod is essentially trying to do the same thing. If you're looking to develop this, teaming up could be a very good idea for both projects:

Another related feature; if this can be developed using the bots, then they could probably also be used as AI allies in campaign modes.

Bots would be alright, I could probably look at RE for that. I actually meant multiplayer with other people across a server.

Yeah I know. But if you figure out how to do that, adding ally bots probably wouldn't be too much further of a stretch.

if you re-read this, and read the other posts on the l4d thread ( http://cubeengine.com/forum.php4?action=display_thread&thread_id=2430 ) you'd realize that's what they are trying to do, please learn more about the engine and about how we word things on the forum since it seems like we are speaking a different language instead of English or German.
