Inserting static models into a map? |

Is this even possible?
I made myself a tiny christmas tree, and and would like to have it go into my map... it's a md2 file and i placed it in a folde runder packages>models
any help would be appreciated :)

Unfortunatly model names are hard coded into the Cube binary. There's no way to define it for each map. I don't know if Aard is going to fix that for the next version.

yes this is already fixed to some extend... they are now in an external config and its made a lot easier/more flexible to define your own.

I was wondering about this too, I wanted to use some torch models (like the ones in Quake 1), amongst other mood setting items. :)
