Hi Folks,
As the title already states I'd like to know if Justice Edition supports .png files for the menu icons (or still only .jpg), and if so, which .cfg or lines of code will have to be altered so that I could use .png graphics?
Thanks for all answers in advance!
Curiously,

It still uses jpg only...
but however you can rename .jpg to .png and it will work (even alpha channel)

Mhhh... I actually just tried renaming, as well as completely creating new content in .png mode, however I then only get a texture error and the icon is no longer correctly linked...
Any ideas to why that is?

Make sure youre renaming extension not just adding .jpg to the file name...

Yeah, what I meant was that I tried two ways, 1. I changed the files extention name from .jpg to .png and then edited the file, with no success.
I also created an entirely new .png file and saved it under the icons name, then deleted the .jpg with the same name. Also with no success...
Any further ideas?

You can't just rename things from png to jpg and expect them to work! Pngs and jpegs are decoded by two seperate libraries, using two completely different algorithms! It's like saying a nut is a banana and expecting someone who's allergic to nuts to eat it!

its simple. make a png icon, save as png. then rename the extension to jpg without modifying anything else.

Hehe dammn, wrong way around ;) I tried converting a .jpg into a png, not a -png into a .jpg... Works just fine now, thank you all! :D
