I am most likely going to hit it on the nose here by saying you don't have the right files for XSBS. I'll upload the XSBS server with zope and twisted for you, and then I'll give you a link to download python (the right python, and it should work)
http://www.mediafire.com/?mnc3yd23tnn (also i forgot to upload it with twisted, so ignore the "andtwisted" at the end of the file name, I'll just upload twisted separately.)
http://www.mediafire.com/?gtmtuqytiwm
and python: http://www.mediafire.com/?44wzdjfz4mh
Also Frog mod works for windows if you download the right stuff. and of course you can always make your own server mod, but the best ones to stick with so far is XSBS or the server.bat that comes with the download as far as hassles go right now.

'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Press any key to continue . . .

Enclose the full path (including the file) in quotation marks ("). Edit the batch file if that's where the error is.
Also, this forum is only for Cube and Cube 2. We do not support server mods here.

it may be easier to open up command prompt and then type in it: CD C:\xsbs-2.0-win32 and it should show you something like this: http://tinypic.com/m/aw3qxs/1
then in the spot that you can type in: xsbs.bat
your problem should be resolved.
