Syntensity / the Intensity Engine is a mod of Cube 2 that adds
* JavaScript on Google V8 for scripting (fast, and allows running untrusted code securely)
* Ability to create all kinds of games through the scripting API - CTF, co-op FPS, racing, drawing, etc.
* Python integration
* Asset management, user accounts, etc. on master server

Recent news:
* Working on integrating Bullet physics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L02dNMDKGok (aside from what you see in the video, this would allow colliding with mapmodels of all shapes and sizes)
* Option to run as a browser plugin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcDeJq38oVA (works on Linux so far, need help with Windows)
* Made a little '2D' platformer demo, just for fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZM181a-ra8 (note the axis change in the middle of the video)

Might wanna moderate those youtube comments a bit more if you plan on using them in a "press release" (esp. wrt 2d platformer one).

I am considering moving the Syntensity code to a permissive FOSS license, more details here:

I would be grateful for feedback and opinions.

I made bindings for editing cube geometry from JavaScript, here is an example video of automatically creating sloped surfaces with it:

#7: Mapmodel mesh collisions |

The video shows a mapmodel with mesh collisions - so the player can collide with the mapmodel properly, and not with a bounding box. Note how the player can move through the holes in the model (but not through where the model is solid).
The mesh data is read from the sauer model, and converted and passed to Bullet, which handles the collisions. Scripts can also, optionally, create collision meshes on the fly.

I relicensed my code from the AGPL to the MIT license (a permissive license, like BSD).
