64bit + Vista + Windows 7

For some reason 64bit, vista and windows 7 dosent automatically generate config files but it works perfectly on windows xp how do u fix this issue :(?

No im talking about like config.cfg and init.cfg etc the maps save fine.

You didn't read what I gave you properly, that tells you where your cfgs save.

in some cases, like mine, the config files are created in the sauerbraten folder. this could be because i installed it to my Z:\ drive and not C:\ .. this could also be because i have disabled UAC. i am using 32bit windows vista sp2.

your game's config files are meant to be created into the the sauer folder..

the path where the game is installed or UAC have nothing to do with this
