first of all much appreciation 2 your work!!!!
well i gotta say that it really makes fun 2 play
...but concerning my fav mode [regen capture] the fact of ->the team controlling the rocket bases nearly always wins and/or is the easiest way 2 frag the opponent team is a point of boringness!!!!
i know i cant change that fact nore can i convince 2 remove it, but this fact is ridiculously insane and a factor for not playing that game again/that often.
thats cause i (like many others watching for quality i guess) aint interestet in getting fragged several times trying 2 conquer the rocket base.
if a victory depends on the choice of the weapon (wheather how skilled u r throwing rockets) i keep saying >>>fuck it<<<
u need alotta luck 2 stay alive in a 1on1 battle with some1 equipped with rocketZ so i would b glad 2 hear some other point of viewZ.
btw i aint a noob 2 the game i keep playing for 2 months right now

I certainly agree. I've always tried to get into regen capture (I have always played FFA) but whenever I enter my team are always controlling crap bases like the grenade base or the rifle base, whilst the red team are constantly raining down on us with bullets and rockets. But to be honest, I don't know what to recommend, as ordinary capture is just as bad.

there are many small balance issues in Sauerbraten. Having rockets and chainguns spawn 20% slower would fix the issue. Also, altering the algorithm to try to space out the rocket and chaingun spawns would be a bonus.

actually I'd say CTF insta is best because you dont have problems with being out of ammo.

The problem is, map makers need to define what ammo capture bases give and distribute it in a balanced fashion, like you would pickups for FFA. So really, maps need fixing, not the spawn rate.
