I labeled this a beta but it's really more of an RC1.

This includes ctf, which is backwards compatible with all the old ctf maps. You can disconnect with a flag, change teams, kick it, mistreat it, whatever. It's very robust. There's also a new sp mode which goetz helped me design. There's a good manual this time, Z-axis mirroring, and other random features.
Throw any bugs my way please.

very nice. i wish i could play quad online but.
the only things that i found that are a bit annyoing are:
Spludge makes good maps but they aren't very good for single player. eg. too many enemies http://www.users.bigpond.com/nathanlyle/1.jpg
or too little and enemies that can't walk through the doors between rooms.
The ogres are colourful :)

but otherwise very good and the error messages are gone which is cool.

Thank you. I meant to tone down the colours of the ogros. I'll remember for the release.
As for sludge, I've recently become attracted to the idea of artificial selection for level design and I think it might be more appropriate for a 2d game. I may take what I learned from sludge and apply it elsewhere.

oops... double post.
Anyway, I didn't see any SP modes past Survival Trials, (which is -6, right?). Unless I am missing something, what's the other mode?
(BTW: GREAT SP modes so far!!)

That could be confusing - that <R>ed is a different team from Red, if <R> is not the default colour.

Well if it's coloured you can see the difference. I can fix it to be the same if you want. I just have to write a modified strcmp.

OpenCube? I don't know, never was part of the project. Just a few post on their forums...

Raise the console by pressing "T" then type these two commands
/mode # <enter>
/map X <enter>
Where # is the mode you want (like -6) and X is the map you want (like metl2)
