I was just hoping that the community out there could help me on my latest mapping exercise. I am making a map entirely out of wireframe-textured cubes. It's designed around two bases, and i need help with the middle ground and the access points to both sides. Please reply! i will post screenshots soon.

Doubtful. I have Comcast, and getmap worked fine the last time I checked.
Of course, using getmap would require that someone has uploaded a map. You can easily test this by doing something like "/map metl4; sendmap; newmap; getmap", which should end up on metl4 downloaded from the server.
There was also a bug not too far back where sometimes sendmap/getmap would just stop working on a server. I don't know if that was fixed in Trooper edition, but try just changing servers.
