Programmers wanted!

I am a fairly experienced map designer, but when it comes to programming I totally fail. If I ever want to get my maps know, I will have to have fully programmed, Useable Maps. So any programmers out there that want to help go ahead and email me at Adukaan@gmail.com or post some contact info here.

Thanks!

a) don't double post
b) what a "programmed maps"? If you're talking about the "Intensity Engine" it might be more appropriate to stay in that thread or at least mention it's name
c) what exactly are you planning and what exactly do you need the "programmer" to do?!
d) have you done any work yet yourself? showing off good 'n solid groundwork is often very advantageous to recruiting help

I do have work done, but I have no idea how to get the map to stay calclighted, add a picture to it, upload it to Quadropolis etc...

That is my problem. Sorry If I did not make it clear, It sounded good at the time but now that I go back and look at it again, I realize several of my mistakes.

About programmed maps... In sauerbraten you have to manually program a map to stay in calclight mode, or to have a pic, or make moving textures. As far as groundwork goes, you will have to come see it on sauerbraten...

I hope this post makes more sense than my last one... Thanks

...to keep it calclighted, all you have to do is calclight THEN save! The light data is saved with the map!

To have a pic, make a screenshot of your map, and then change it to 256x256 pixels, then save it with the same name in /packages/base, e.g. if your map is admp1, name your picture admp1.jpg.

Just save after you calclight. (Editing invalidates lightmaps, so just don't edit after calclighting.)
Mapshots are just cropped and scaled screenshots. Use /screenshot or the key (default F12, I believe) or MeatROme's Pretty Screenshot script: http://quadropolis.us/node/276 .

Also texscroll: http://sauerbraten.org/docs/editref.html#texscroll .

also, if you used any code on the map, you can save it into a cfg file on the autoexec page in the gui

For one thing I'm guessing Adukaan is not very comfortable with CubeScript - hence his/her asking here. Some RTFM should rectify that though, as well as checking out existing CFGs to get ideas about which commands to look into (subtle hint, eh?).

But please give more precise answers, yours was very misleading:
On the "main"-gui select "editing"
and then the tab "cfg"
Use load and save to update the editor or file respectively.

There's also a special tab for editing your autoexec.cfg, but that's not for editing map-cfg's!
And what WakeField called a "page" is usually referred to as a "tab".
