Q009's ambient sound pack
Includes sci-fi sounds (machines etc...) and thunder sounds (rain, lighting and wind)

Just put 'packages' in your Sauerbraten directory...
-->Implementation:
To use them in your map just write it at end in your map CFG:
mapsound "sounds/ambience/stormwind" 200
mapsound "sounds/ambience/stormrain" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/stormbolts" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/outdoor_signal" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/ambient1" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/ambient2" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/ambient3" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/ambient4" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/machine1" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/machine2" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/machine3" 255
mapsound "sounds/ambience/critical_core" 255
Sound pack is free2use
--You can use them for your maps/mods/games
--You can post it with your stuff on Quadropolis

last time i checked, there was a "sounds.cfg" located in: C:\Program Files\Sauerbraten\data
it holds the scripting you'll need in order for your sounds to work (i think). otherwise if i am correct, when you try to play the sounds it'll say "unregistered sound:so and so"
unless i am wrong (and i hope i am...) you might need to script it and add it as a file that replaces the orginal sounds.cfg.

no, it dont has sounds.cfg file its not a mod its just pack of ambient sounds , you dont have to overwrite anythin you just need to add some lines in your map cfg. read manual how to use ambient sounds...

oh, ok... thanks, i wasn't sure on it, it was just something i had trouble with when i moved some of the sounds to a diff folder....
