new monster models by recycling player models?

I know that its hard to find new monster models over the internet and i also know that it is a pain in the *** to make such models. but i have a suggestion to move over this obstacle:

The snout model is a player model. detailed enough and non glitchy! wahey! that's good. Cause we can have new monster models from it. (no i can't do modelling)
All it needs is a little body tweaking here and there to make it differ from other monster models and the player model and then some retexturing to (as usual) make it look different. They could become nazi snouts or mutated snouts. your ideas.

then the next thing we change is the storyline of "player vs monsters" to something like "player vs his own snout kind". Plus the animations will be a lot better with these modified models compared with the models we already know such as bauul and ogro

I'd like to hear opinions on this :)

well if its possible it could be a good way to revive SP in SB (if we'll ever see it again after the new release)

I was being sarcastic, being the creator of the model ironsnout.

And funny you should mention a SP revival, as there is a group of us doing just that at the moment.

It's possible already, by replacing some existing monsters' .cfg files

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: BACKUP THE FOLLOWING MONSTERS IN THE PACKAGES/MODELS/MONSTER FOLDER:
bauul
hellpig
rat
rhino
slith
THEN DELETE THOSE FOLDERS, AND EXTRACT THE ARCHIVE!

The only one that's slightly wonky is the rocketlauncher dude, since his hitbox is way taller than he appears (so he gets stuck :P) and rockets are launched... above his head..
Also, I didn't bother to change sounds around.
