Remote server

Ok.. i have a remote dedicated server.. i downloaded and un-packed sauer, and i made sure i had the libGl and SDL dependiencies installed... over an SSH shell, i then tried to do "./sauerbraten_unix -d &" to start sauerbraten in dedicated server mode... i get the error "Unable to initialize SDL: No available video device
" Im sorry that i have to be the one to ask this question. I thought when you start it in server mode that it did not need a monitor or graphics adapter, can someone please give me some advice.

I have tried the directions on this page : http://www.cubeengine.com/forum.php4?action=display_thread&thread_id=275

and i tried to follow this "
# wget http://tunes.org/~eihrul/linux_server
# ./linux_server -mblah"
but i get a 404 for the files needed

Ok nvm, i have found how to start the server in bin_unix but what flags can i pass into it besides : -p"${SAUER_PASS}" -c"${SAUER_CLIENT}" -n"${SAUER_NAME}" ?

i am very sorry i should have rescearched the topic more, i finally found how i should start the server : exec bin_unix/linux_server "-q${HOME}/.sauerbraten" "$@"
