Yew gotta read more of mah posts mang.

Summary: your mod is unusable to any insta players. Rifle trails don't hover as long as they do with vanilla Sauerbraten. Makes it a lot more difficult to see where a shot just came from.

I made a Mac version that worked using the Sauerbraten files, but I have a problem with the image the game overlays after you shoot something that makes it look "dented" or charred. Does anyone know what directory this is in?

P.S. On a Mac, you right click on the Sauerbraten icon and hit "Show Package Contents".

Im not entirely sure Sauer needs dynamic lighting, at least not on the maps. That said, it would be cool to see shadows blowing out from objects in front of an explosion! At the moment Sauer uses simple blurred shadow maps to render a dynamic shadowmap (that doesnt respond to different lighting in the scene however), I personally believe that this could be improved.
Rendering godrays can create the impression of dynamic shadows but, again, probably inappropriate for sauerbraten

Yes it\'s unnecessary because maps are static and doesn\'t need dynamic world shadows. But for dynamic lights like muzzles and explosions it could look quite better.
Godrays - nah. They wont look good on small closed maps especially with Sauer\'s lighting system... There should be separated ent for volumetric lighting. Anyway this is way too hard for me ;)

No. No and no. No vehicles and oter things like that... Sauerbraten Enhnaced is a mod that desn't affect gameplay.

Dynamic shadows - as i described b4
unneccesary. Maps are static so lightmaps are very good. But it would improve dynamic lights like muzzles and explosions...
