what are you talking about, sadly it doesn't even sound like english. my point is that everytime you make something that you want to keep save before moving on in the few cases that you either forget or your computer freezes (unlikly). also don't forget to do /remip once done, it makes the cubes get as largewr as they possibly can without messing up what you made.

It could be likely for your computer to freeze during editing depending on your computer Sub-zero. And raven, save every 15 minutes so that if you computer DOES freeze, you've only lost 15 minutes of work. Also, why are there so many maps called WTF in halflife? You included that there are 5 of them...

well wake thats nice to save if your comp freezes every 15 mins, but in my last message i pointed out that if you have something that you want to save, just save it, even if it took two minutes to make.

i agree with that. i dont save every 15 mins but more try to save wehen i feel i have accomplished something that is worth while saving, rather a signifcant progression or something simple. i dont save in time increments because some things i often do i do to investigate the possibilites of the map, and incase that isnt what i want, i dont want to save something that will mess up other hard work that i have done.

also, messing up and loosing all that work isnt a bad thing. i had that happen a couple times when i first started editing. restarting often made the overall quality of my maps better because i began to see things more and more right off the bat, what did work and what didnt work.

i still have yet to publish a complete map. i have restarted my urban themed map multiple times for 6 or 7 months. only recently have i found that the revision i am working on now was what i have been looking for. i dont know, i am picky, maybe because i am an artist, and artists just do that typically.

either way, look at it as an oppertunity for improvement. play around with almost some sketch-like layouts till you find what your looking for, then work the details out.

for me, i think that spacing in both gameplay and detail is really important in sauerbatan. thats how i gadge what is working or not. just a tip.

good luck

also some tips here, play on multiplayer in coop-edit as much as you can stand, either you can teach someone something, or someone can teach you something.
