this thread is for people with questions on the server from the new release of sauer.

i have my own question, i bring up my server and do all the -n (for name) -p (for password) -c (Client numbers), but none of that stuff is working, also i can't even get on my server. it says on the master server "waiting for response" any idea on how to fix all this stuff?

This is a slight bug. You have to either remove the server-init.cfg, so the settings there don't override the command-line options, or just use the server-init.cfg instead.

i have tryed using the server-init.CFG by opening it and going to the server "notepad" to edit it and added -server-init.CFG, neather worked. i'll go ahead and try removing the server-init.CFG and see if that helps.

tow minutes later after removing the progrma server-init.CFG it still doesn't name it and also it still says "waiting for response

It might be because you have the securidy settings not set on full control. heres what you can do: go to computer>Program Files>Sauerbraten, right click on the server file and then click "properties" then go to security and set everything on "full control" that includes "SYSTEM" "Administraitors"
"users" and "Trusted Installers" if that doesn't work there may be a firewall bloking it, try clearing that and also look at your ports.
