So I am tentatively setting the release for around next week. All release dates are made to be broken, so take that with a grain of salt.
But, this means that if you are working on a map that you wanted to show to me for release, that you need to, with all haste, get it in a final state within the next few days and get it to me BEFORE then, not later. And also let me know ahead of time ASAP you are working on said maps, so I can plan ahead accordingly.

Im just sayin', instead of saying lease send us our maps NOW because the new version is coming, with all that hassle, shouldnt you be a BIT more organized with this and make a deadline for maps, about 2 weeks BEFORE the release, so there isn't any delay?

Where have YOU been the past month? There's been a very robust thread ("New release within a month or so") about this going for a good bit more than two weeks.

I don't understand why anyone cares if it's late or not... if anyone is getting anxious the he/she can download the SVN version and take a look at the new candy :)

But when I go to the site where it tells me how to get the SVN for Mac, (thats what i got) You have to download like 5 different programs and have to do a LOT of installing and setting up :\
ANyways, in general it just feels better to get a REAL version too :)

i see sauerbraten has finally switched to SVN, which means we could store the dependencies (frameworks) in SVN reducing any need for additional downloads.

I dont want to have to do this SVN bull or CVS on my mac, i dont want to compile or do xcode...

if it is not too late i want to upload a map for this cube. my problem is at the moment, that i have to add lights, bases, and one flag. sorry about the last minute map upload. i should have it on here by tonight (11-12 PM-AM centrial and pacific time)or tomorrow night at 9:00 PM-11:00 PM. again, sorry about the last minute uploading.

After a while (bit more time than I expected) I got the map ready. Its a map that is almost exactly the same in all four corners. Its a INSTA CTF ONLY map. But it can support other modes such as all Insta and Capture modes, Insta Team and Teamplay. Thank you for your time Eihrul.
