Heh heh. I think a pulsating red arrow would have been a better choice, someone asking that question probably isn't familiar enough with SF to recognize what you changed.

Both "link" and "mirror" are hyperlinks, click on "mirror" and pick another one - you can see the currently selected option in the choose-mirror-dialog and (in case of auto-select, you can assume it picked the same one last time, the current one is shown on the original page at the bottom, behind "Mirror provided by:").

Yeah, well, it was late, and I didn't want to figure out how to do arrows in the GIMP. :P
