I'm experimenting with CMSes, and sauerbraten was the topic i chose to use. The sites at

The registration is buggy, at best, sendmail goes to sleep sometimes for no reason in the middle of sending mail. If you don't get an email then go to the "request new password" page and keep trying that

Do you know about Quadropolis?
http://quadropolis.us/

It uses Drupal as well.

Yes, its included in the game docs.
But quadropolis isn't a site oriented towards hosting user content, its more of a showcase for works made by hobbyists. My site has a different focus. It's aimed more at hosting content by the users. A broader area of the spectrum.
I got the idea from somebody else, but who didn't have any of the same, however limited, resources as I do.
Do they still use drupal 4? just wondering...

I don't see the difference really, there's nothing really originally about whacking up a CMS and hoping people will use it. Quadropolis has a "showcase" kind of theme because that is what people want; they don't want to spend hours pouring through the list trying to find that one good piece of content amongst the hundreds of pieces of crap people put 20 minutes of work into. You've mostly just ensured that regular people won't bother with it, and will be relegated to a holding area for people who get their content deleted from Quadropolis (with good reason).

Rather than duplicating efforts unnecessarily, how about getting involved with the community rather than trying to steal from the small pool there already is like (with a quick forum search) "Quadropolis: Seeking Web Developer" @ http://www.cubeengine.com/forum.php4?action=display_thread&thread_id=1995

Seriously, the amount of people that have tried this in the past is staggering, and shows you haven't done your research before doing this. I'm sorry if I sound overly negative, but I wish people would do more to work with what the community wants/needs and the developers trying to drive it rather than going off on their own tangent, spending a day making a website and then expecting everyone to use it.
