Changing From MasterServer To ip

Well my subject says it all but ill explain more well i wanted to change the masterserver to my ip so that i can host the server and if this is possible do i need some sql for the database?

You don't need to change anything concerning the master server if you want to host a server.

If you only want to see your own server, I don't think it's possible without hosting your own master server (which is probably beyond your skill level).

You can disable communicating with the official master server by passing -l127.0.0.1 (or whatever) on the command line, which will mean that you won't announce to nor receive from the official master server.

Your question wasn't really worded in an obvious manner - I'm going to assume you mean that you have modded clients and servers and now wish to run your own masterserver so that only your clients/servers see each other. In which case the sourcecode for the masterserver may be found by searching this forum or by looking at the source code of other sauerbrarten mods, like bloodfrontier for example.
