Other editors?

Is there ANY other editors out there for Sauerbraten to replace making maps with the built-in level editor?

I just find the built in level editor time consuming and generally confusing.

No.

If you find it time-consuming, you must be doing it wrong. It's one of the fastest ways I've seen to build anything.
It also really helps to read the docs.
