hey im new here. i found your game(engine) on the iphone(ive read a few threads and determined it was the buggy first version). when i read the app description i thought there was a cube 2 for iphone but when i couldnt find it i came to cubeengine.com to see if i could find out what was up. when i saw that it as a whole game built around this engine, not originally for iphone, i was surprised. so ive downloaded cube 2, and played some single player(all three parts of run n gun, or something) and like it alot. but its hard to pick up and i have no idea how to do multiplayer. does anyone have a getting started guide.
i guess im here just to play this pretty neat free FPS, i dont know how to code or anything like that, just some HTTP and teaching myself AJAX.
but this is great game and i would love to help in any way.

First thing you should do, is read the guides, etc. that are included with the package you already downloaded...then come back and ask for clarification of what you still don't understand. Open the sauerbraten directory, and look in the docs directory. You should find all you need to get going.

Heh, if the iphone port of cube attracts us some more sauerbraten players - then mission accomplished :-)
