Sauer Custom DMG

Hi all, I haven't posted on here in a while. Anyway, I was wondering what the best program to create a DMG that has a background picture and icons is. Here are the ones I know of and why I can't use them:

1. DMG Canvas: Its easy to use, free, and has some nice features. However, when I tried to create a test DMG of Sauer, it said the file was too big for the DMG.

2. FileStorm: Great program, gets the job done quick and easily, no problem with the size of the files, but it's not free, and I'm not buying it just for one DMG. Also, it has a problem with Sauer's Frameworks folder.

3. Drop DMG: This program doesn't really do what I need it to do, and the interface is kind of bad. Even with the documentation's help, I can't seem to figure out how to use it.

With that said, does anyone know of any other programs that can get the job done, and are free? Think of it this way: If you had to make a DMG for Sauer that had a background picture and some icons, what would you use?

You might ask: Why am I trying to make a custom DMG for Sauer? The answer is: When people download Sauer, I want them to have a great first impression of the game. I have already tried to make an installer, but that didn't do too good.

most mac people use safari, where the DMG is auto-expanded, so they would never see the picture anyway...

#2: Intrested??

Hello? Is anyone interested? Hello??? I'm not trying to bug anyone, but come on. If you want me to really put effort into something that might help Sauerbraten, answer the question I am asking in the top of the thread. I do know about the auto expanding of the DMG's in Safari, but I just checked and there is a check box that allows you to turn off auto opening of downloaded files, not that many people want to have to manually open downloaded files, but it does give you a choice. Anyway, all I want from you in this tread is:

1. If you think making a custom DMG is worth it

2. What program I should use to do this?

There doesn't appear to be much interest.

Typically either I or absinth do a dmg - if we were to add an image then the technique doesn't require any special tools (e.g. http://www.decaffeinated.org/archives/2004/04/20/dmg)

Ahh, OK. I see. I knew it had something to do with the view options, but I couldn't figure out that you had to be in icon view and not column view. Anyway, I was able to successfully do it, but seeing how easy it is to do, probably everyone on here could do it with no problem. It really is just a matter of if the people in charge of Sauer's DMG think Sauer should have a custom one or not.

DMG? O_O i thought you meant DaMaGe.. well that would be cool too.. if you can make in SP a triggered damage (like if you go into fire it hurts you. but dont kills you.)
