Daily dose of funness...

Calimer from Sandbox had pointed out to me the following Doom 3 mod: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cTzqwl_BOk

I noticed it had a shader that was relatively easy to port to Sauer, so I gave it go and it looks thusly:

It's a tad expensive unless you have a very recent video card. But if anyone wants to play with it I put it in Sauer CVS and it can be enabled via "/rotoscope 1".

That's a pretty sweet little feature. I fired up the guacamole map and was blown away by how cool it looked. Fun to see which maps looked cool with which settings: Thor looks pretty cool with rotoscope 1, while maps like corruption look cool on rotoscope 0.

Kinda odd not having the menus also shaded, but I guess that's a safety thing more than anything else. By the way, what happened to the old black/white filters and such? I went looking and couldn't find them.

The old filters are still around: /showgui postfx

Oh, more fun, I tried adding some blur after the rotoscope shader:

Yep, I think it's time to switch over to CVS. :)
I REALLY want to take this for a spin--I'm curious as to what guacamole (et al.) look like with rotoscope+blur.

#10: Not realy working...

Hi all, just wanted to say that I tried the rotoscope and all it does is make the map darker. Anyone know why it's doing this? I think it has something to do with my low end video card, but I'm not sure.

Shader support is required.
