So here\'s the deal, I am looking at making a Sauerbraten modification. I have successfully compiled on ubuntu, and am now looking at doing so for windows as well.
For some reason, even with all the required mingw packages etc installed my build still fails.
I was wondering what setup of tools/programs people were using to compile Sauerbraten on windows.
Thanks ;)

i think there's a codeblocks project file you can use.
codeblocks is an opensource IDE:

you can install vs 2008 trial free for 90 days. Works like a charm!

I maintain the codeblocks project file, located in src/mingw/ - if you use CB you shouldn't have to do anything at all, but if something crops up I should be able to help.
