Hello everybody!

I bought a EXTREME 3D PRO Joystick from Logitech!
Can I play "Sauerbraten" with the Joystick?
I hope, it works!

Yes you can if you'll download very-very-old-coded SauerJoy mod. I don't recommend that...

Well, I've been pondering starting another "SauerMod" so that things like this can be grouped together and maintained. Question is, anyone else interested in doing it?

I have my work on BF, so I wouldn't be able to dedicate a ton of time to it, but I would be able to help and guide anyone who wants to do it.

Possibly you could have, something like joy2key ( linux ) run keybinds? There\'s probably something similar for windows.

i wouldn\'t mind helping on this. i wrote a very crude means of connecting a 3D mouse to sauer for a demo. it too works by generating key presses, but it not very user friendly. i\'d love to have it working smoothly and a real joystick type interface would be ideal for it.

Took a look at that, and must say that I am intrigued. It would go quite well into BF's separated mouse input, with some tweaks. I can totally see aiming being segregated from movement in this fashion.

Oh all the possibilities...

You seem to be the only other innovative cube modder around, and I'd really like to chat if you use IRC or something.
