In my opinion THE tool to have for addicts just like you and me!

It lets you watch all servers, see whos online ingame, search for players, etc.



Ok, the official announcement:

One year and one day after the first commit to local SVN was made version 0.8 is released to public.

Whats new:
drag and drop: arrange your whole CSL window just as you like. Watch the players on your favourite servers 24/7. Just right click on a server, choose a view and drag and drop it to where you want to have it.
more options to view servers and players: 4 different views: full/micro/mini/default.
search option: you can now search for servers or playernames. Look for your buddy's name, a part of it or just a clantag. CSL will instantly tell on which server your friends are.
Thanks to the devs and especially Lee "eihrul" Salzman the ext-info is now included in Sauerbraten, AssaultCube, and BloodFrontier servers. This means you can watch all info from any server online, not just a few like in the previous release.
further little handy things: see how many players are online in Sauerbraten overall, choose from more options for configuration, watch map previews and see who holds which base for all CTF and capture maps, etc.

kickass. downloaded it,unzipped, up and running. Simple to use is good.

I installed it and it connected to master server just fine.

But it errored no matter what when I double clicked a server to try and run Sauer.

It was putting a slash into program files. So instead of c:\program files\blah blah blah it was doing c:\program\ giles\blah blah

File not found.

That's even with me going into settings and setting the path to Sauer (default install). And even tried advanced settings. Both same error.

Fun little tool. Quite nice as an alternative to the ingame score window - especially if you have a 2nd monitor.

One curiosity - several times now I've seen it show people as having a pistol when the game mode is insta-ctf

I already have an entry on Quadropolis ( http://quadropolis.us/node/850 ) and I also asked Nieb some days ago to put it on the main page one more time but it seems he is away since some days

This is clearly a bug and it's now fixed in the devel branch. A workaround for now is to move the Sauerbraten folder to a path which doesn't contain spaces. An update will be out in some days, so far I'm just waiting for some other bugs reports.

This sounds really strange. I tested it again and again but so far i can't see a Pistol, only Rifle or Fist. Does this happen on all servers or a only at a special one?

I didn't notice you update the node. When you add new stuff to your nodes now, you need to add a new comment to bump it to the top of the recent content block.

Nieb doesn't have alot of time for the community these days, which is why I took over the day to day maintenance of Quadropolis. I've promoted it to the front page as Starred Content, thanks for the icons :)

Next on my wish list; minimize to tray with modal 'on top' server info dialogs so I can watch my server while doing other things.
