starting ammo?

is it somehow possible to set the amount of ammo (in SP) in the beginning?

if i want to make a real good "RPG" aka SP map i dont want that my guy starts with 80 gun shots and 1 grenade ~.~

Nnnno it isn't...
Sauer's source is released under the zlib/libpng license... http://opensource.org/licenses/zlib-license.php

There is no other way.

Yikes... please familiarize yourself with Sauerbraten a bit before making such statements. Modding is actually encouraged (illegal? where did that come from?), and a properly done mod can fit on a floppy disk. No one said anything about having to do a full conversion mod.

You wouldn't have to provide all the files, just the binary. The standard Sauerbraten Windows binary is only 754 KB. The starting weapons really should be configurable, though.

I dont think you need to mod the source, just put this in the map cfg...
