How do i load models?

I want to load some human models instread mrfixit etc,how do i do that?

You can either replace the current models with your own models or modify the source to change the path to where your own models are found (probably in fpsgame/game.cpp or something like that, but I don't know).

What do you not get? Do you have models already or are you planning on making new ones?

If you already have animated models in the right file format, you can find the player model (found in packages/models) and simply delete/move the old files and put your new ones in their place. If you don't want to overwrite the old models you can modify the source and recompile. There are instructions on recompiling somewhere.

If you don't already have models, you're gunna want to either find some that you can (legally) use or make your own. Try using blender (a free model editing program).

The sauerbraten devs didn't build maya, why are you asking this question here? Sauerbraten can directly use these formats, but first you have to learn how to make them...that is not what this forum is for. You need to read up on how to use maya.

Also, if you change the player model, you will be the only one that can see the change, making it pointless. Sauerbraten does not support multiple player models.
