Bah, messing around recreating my cookie and I forgot the title. Sorry.
This would be really cool for Eisenstern especially.

I must correct this a bit: it is licensed under CC-by-SA (attribution and share-alike).
cheers,

Yeah, you can't really do GPL with models. And if you could, since GPL is viral, it would contaminate Sauer's other resources.

And a boarman mage, fully rigged and ready to go.

Sorry about the incorrect license in the title. Anyhow, its suitably licensed for inclusion in Eisenstern, if wanted...
Regarding the contamination, that's just FUD. It only applies to modifications and derivatives (code or art) not to "sibling" art. GPL for art is fine.

Update for the boarman mage:

That looks ACE. I'm surprised there isn't more interest.

Rpg sauerbraten is all but dead. Any content won't help that. If this changes I'll help get it incorporated.

I'm really much for the idea to get the Eisenstern project on the way. I see some great potential in using this engine for an rpg game. Although I'm not a great C/C++ programmer I'm willing to help out in editing maps and testing/debugging. Are there no other members here that are interested in that project?

I think that somehow, Eisenstern should become the game's SP mode.

I have no idea how an RPG could be a single player mode for a first person shooter.
But, I would really like to see some progress made in the rpg as well.

what is a first person shooter but a role playing game where the player role plays a guy running around and killing things...
anything the sp version needs done can be accomplished with the rpg version, but with added scripting options...
