I have all mumble and server(murmur) working good, I speak with it to a friend.
But now, how can I enable positional sound with mumble in the game?
Obviously the box is checked in the menu!
I need to specify something to mumble no? for him to receive directions information.like some plugin..
(I think this in not yet in the documentation..)

In Mumble click on:
configure -> settings
Check the "Expert config" box beneath the list
You should find something with Audio Output (at least in windows...) with another checkbox for "positional audio".
You can also try configure -> Audio wizard. There should be such a positional audio checkbox as well.

I also have mumble and mumble server installed. All is setup and working nicely.
Except for positional audio support for mumble in sauerbraten.
I\\\\\\\'m using mumble 1.1.4, and have sauerbraten compiled for 64bit linux in Ubuntu 8.04.
The mumble overlay works in sauerbraten fine:
LD_PRELOAD=\\\\\\\"/usr/lib/mumble/libmumble.so.1.1.4\\\\\\\" ./sauer.sh
Does anyone know how to get directional audio support working in with mumble in sauerbraten?

Did you check the box "Link to game and transmit position" in the plugins menu, too?

If you enable the text to speech feature of mumble, you should here a \\\\\\\"Plugin sauerbraten connected\\\\\\\" Message when starting sauerbraten and saying something, if not there is something wrong. maybe you have to type /mumble 1 into sauer console. Does the \\\\\\\"Link Plugin\\\\\\\" show up in the plugins list? If not, you have to arrange the plugins as follows for linux:
mumble
mumble/mumble <--- excutable
mumble/plugins
mumble/plugins/liblink.so
if not, mumble will not find the plugin. I have 64bit too, self compiled sauer executable, everything works as it should

ok, well. it work well for me now!
So I checked the positional sound button in the configuration of mumble"audio input", plus I checked "expert config" => "plugins" and "link to game and transmit position" . And for sauerbraten , normaly it is already checked, "mumble".
That's it!
