How To Make Sauer Behave Like A Next-Gen Game!

Just open the console and type /maxfps 10! Easy as pie. Now your game will run on par with games such as Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3.

Crysis and UT3 definitely do not run at 10 fps... more like between 30 and 60, and Sauerbraten tends to stick around 60 fps for me automatically, so really no change is needed.

You may need a better video card or processor, or more RAM to play UT3 and Crysis and other PC games.

The speed of SB is what makes it a great game.

UT3 has pretty fast game play, It's my favorite retail FPS right now. I'm not impressed with Crysis and COD4 multiplayer is really crappy.

I get way more fun from playing SB :)

"Crysis and UT3 definitely do not run at 10 fps... more like between 30 and 60"
Depends on your machine. On mine they run around 15 fps usually.

Anyways, I thought this would be a funny crack at modern games focusing on graphics to the point of killing off half their customer base. Crysis and UT3 are actually pretty good games in my opinion.

Actually, I got the idea for this joke from TrackMania. (http://trackmania.com/) Being a racing game, I don't notice it much. Besides, the motion blur helps IMMENSELY.
