Hi
I have changed my computer and my distro(pentium4 3Ghz +1G ram+ 7300GT +ubuntu8.04)
and since this I have an issue.
When I launch the game I had to change once my resolution of screen in the game to resolve my 15fps to normal fps.For example i launch the game and if it is in 1280*1024 I change it to 1024*768 for example, then the screen go back and after fps are ok. I close the game an relaunch it and again i have poor fps.so I rechange resolution to another res.,screen goes black and refresh to normal fps...
Weird is't it?
I had to put latest Nvidia driver(beta 173.08) otherwise the game hangup completely !
Another clue, now when I launch the game with -f0 option all go well but it is not very nice because I normal able to have fancy shaders as I said upper.

Try running sauerbraten with the -r switch, then changing the resolutions, and restarting the game

Try putting (e.g.) "setres 1024 768" in your autoexec.cfg.

Also make sure your drivers are installed correctly and you're actually using tham.
