Downloading CVS?

How do you download the CVS of sauerbraten. Ive been looking everywhere to find out how but i dont understand what most of it is talking about. I know that you need a system like Tortoise CVS or anyother one, but i dont know where to get the CVS files.

I did exactly what it said to do but when i press finish at the end it has an error or something.

The messages says:

"An I/O-error occured.
Details:
Could not create directory 'C:Program File\sauerbraten\CVS'."

then on the output it says:

"checkout -P sauerbraten"

Do u know what i did worng because i know i followed the directions correctly.

more info on your system please
and wat cvs client is and put it in its own folder IE C:\games\sauerbraten and not C:\games\sauerbraten\cvs
