Evolution of Mr Fixit

So I was designing another game character. A few ideas brought me to;

Not gonna texture it, but I wanted to say that looks cool, but the arms seriously look to skimpy. Bulk them up a bit.

This might just be the angle of the screenshot, but I think that the lower jaw is much too short. I really liked the sassy, jutting jaw shown in the refined design, it gave the character a lot more personality. Also, like MovingTarget, I feel like the arms should be much larger, definitely wider and longer than the legs.

But a very entertaining character, I look forward to seeing more of him.

Agreed. The arms should be more muscular and the mouth should be a bit lower. The way it is right now, he looks like he could get a tooth in his eye!

Very interesting character, lots of... character! If I might comment on it, the skin texture looks a bit "furry"- you might want to go for a flatter green that accentuates the muscles with shading (look at Sauer's ogro for an example). Otherwise, a very good start!

Just curious, are you going to make this match where the current theme of sauer looks to be going? That being the futuristic, robotic look of ironsnout and the sci-fi weapons? He looks very...organic(still cool though!).

well maybe we could finally have two different player models for the teams instead of just different skins.

Hitech VS. Organic sounds good to me ;)

However... I must say the concept looks quite a bit better than the final model.
I would try to keep closer to that and also fix up the proportions a bit.

If a texturer is found that would weigh heavily upon their approach, but if I have to texture it it will remain very close to the concept. Alot is still being done;

Beautiful.
But maybe, as I said before, lower the lower jaw a bit (and maybe make the cleft chin a little less prominent).

That texture you have there doesnot realy look too good, the model is nice though, I could work on the texture for you?
But thats up to you, it aint ingame at the moment so we may not know what will happen with it.

Acord is texturing it. He offered first. But skinners are hard to come by so if you have any projects you would like to collaborate on let me know. I'd like to see some jpgs if you have them.
