hi,
always when somebody uses the transparent texture my edit mode looks weird.

I believe that's an engine bug. Happens on mine too.

Looks a bit like z-fighting. Try /floatvtx 0 or 1 (might make it worse though)

it does only make it worse
i cant see anything and its very slow:

Go to your sauerbraten dir, and delete config.cfg (This will erase your configuration)
Then, make sure to add zpass 0 into your autoexec.cfg
Then start Sauerbraten.

Try this in your batch file:
bin\sauerbraten.exe -w640 -h480 -f0 -a0 -b16 -z24
if there is no change:
bin\sauerbraten.exe -w640 -h480 -f0 -a0 -b16 -z16
I suppose that maybe you could play with the number on -z too.
Oh, and does sauerbraten give any errors? like at the top of the screen when it puts you in a map?

Give updated drivers a try, I have a system with a 9250 here and it runs Sauerbraten fine (assassin edition).
