there isn't really much to say, some of these issues were considered.

1. Already possible, use /mode 1; map <mapname> to use coopedit mode, which isn't timed. The released version should still have the intermission disabled anyway. the command is actually set as an alias, so you can just type /coop <mapname> too.

2. Unless someone else uses a /sendmap to upload their copy of the map to the server. typing /getmap should still get you the latest version of the map.

3. We're not very good at programing, and unless it happens in sauer, it won't happen in PAS, but this is a feature we'd love as well.

4. hmm... perhaps if elevator entities were removed, and platforms were made to visit some entity, like a platmove entity. /newent platmove <platform ID> <# in series> sounds fair. but alas we can't do that ourselves either :(

5. you can add your sounds in and modify sounds.cfg, or use /mapsound or /registersound to add in sounds. unfortunately we can't offer any more direct control.

MISC : The scripting language of sauerbraten is cubescript, so your experience with LUA may not be able to help us at all. But who knows :)

#5: Kids?

A bit weird, little kids playing something educational which is based on a violent FPS :)

Calling Sauer violent just seems silly to me.....

Thanks for replying Hirato, it's highly appreciated. I did a little bit of digging into the source folders and the text documents, not far different than what I did. The stuff I worked on was scripting for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Multiplayer. But this stuff looks slightly more difficult than what I did. I'm pretty good at combining simple if-then-else, variables/values, and functions.

you're supposed to launch it the same way as sauer. not in the bin* directory :D.

just (double-)click the clickme batch, or the sandbox_unix script, depending on your OS :)
