What I'm tired of is people who don't show the minimum respect towards their team members and don't bother to aim carefully enough to only shoot at the opposing team.
They prefer to shoot a rocket that hits both you and the opponent than be careful enough to try and not kill you. There is no caution, they just shoot like you're not there.
Of course there are TKs that happen out of accident and I'm guilty of those as well, but I always apologize when that happens and I try to be very careful for it not to happen. There are a lot of people who don't seem to care.
I find that this happens more in Regen Capture than with normal Capture. What about introducing a small penalty for TK? Maybe that will discourage some players and make them be more careful.
Am I being picky? Does this only bother me?

The the-conquerors server bans anyone who reaches a certain TK number, but I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about.

I think you should have a longer respawn time (at least in normal capture, maybe not regen because there is no respawn time.)

'Course, there already is a penalty of -1 points whenever you TK...

give the team killer the respawn delay when he dies - not the person who has been killed :P
respawn delays in fast paced action games are sort of displaced I think.

Yeah, give the TC servers a shot - the warnings and eventual kicks seem to mellow (somewhat) the TK-ing. At the very least, the truly horrific aimers get weeded out pretty quickly :P

Well, nunof, it's the same in about every online-game I know. Just ignore those bastards and enjoy being ranked better than them. :)
