Load Made Maps

I accedentally made a second map and now I cannot load my original, how do you load maps that dont appear in the gui?

Using the /map mapname command, where mapname is the name of your map.

it kills me!!!! i make a map which i really like and i don`t know how to save it or load it!!!! please can someone help?
