Hello!
I downloaded assault cube because i wanted to try it. I wanted to play it on my laptop but the games laggs as hell. Its impossible to play and i thought that it has low system requirment. Mz laptop has an AMD Turion dual core processor (1,8 Ghz) and 2 Gb DDR-2 ram. Do you thin that my grafik card is not good enouugh? Its a ATI Radeon Xpress 1150.
Please help me I wanted to play this game!

Not to be overly pedantic, but that would be "low framerate" or "poor performance," and not "lag."

Lag is playing on a server in Myanmar. Crappy framerate is the slideshow from having a crummy box, or driver issues.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lag

"Low framerate" can fit under the definition of lag.

But then us gaming old-timers won't know what you are talking about. Anyways, you are using it as a noun. Nowhere in that definition does it equate the word 'lag' to the word 'slow'. It indicates that 'lag' is in reference to something else, as in 'falling behind others'.

So, lag means that your game actions & updates are 'falling behind' all the others - or lagging behind. It only has context in a multiplayer setting. And you can have terribly low framerate, yet have zero lag.
