new hudguns m2k release \

Hi guys, i promise you a new release of my hudguns, from now V2 will named solaris.

PD. i try to use new bump maping of assain edition but it carsh my sauer. i will update the next release with alphablending, that work fine from now. i don,t have vwep, i will made soon.

hi, the screenshot is looking nice but i get an error when loading with sauerbraten assasin edition (patched) - here is the last output:

Mining Station by metlslime
could not load packages/models/hudguns/shotg/blue/shot.md3
Segmentation fault

it seems like a model is messed up...

ok, it is the path i think - the chaingun model for example loads well after renaming and putting it into the right directory... for the shotgun the path should be packages/models/hudguns/shotg/shot.md3
not ../blue/shotg/shot.md3

so far - happy debug :P

You have to change the first line in packages/models/hudguns/shotg/md3.cfg to md3load ../shot.md3

Or else it will fail to load. The same with some of the other weapons too.

Sorry wrong directory, this is the correct: packages/models/hudguns/shotg/blue/md3.cfg

currently the grey skins are looking a bit like plastic to me - if you rebuild the skins so they look more blackish the weapons would perfecly fit to geartroopers vweaps and are a good base for a new class based regen-capture mode where you have something like soldier/rocketeer/scout/engineer classes with different weapons and possibilities (for example creating ammo/health depots or moving faster)

such a game mode would be nice to see - the needed models are nearly finished with that weaponset i think

Ive downloaded the hudweps but they dont show up nor do the sounds wwork, how do i get them to work?????

OK ive got the sounds on there but not the guns, but ill do that later, but when i try to shoot its says something like "failed to load sample:Hudgun:*what ever kind of gun i was using* HELP!

tray deletiting all the hudguns directory EXCEPT the "first" hudgun, and them add the new hudguns. to do this go to sauer/base/models/hudgun ... directory.
To load music try to delete sound.cfg file from base folder and add the new from zip.

maybe this can solve problems.
