Really? The most I've ever seen was a ~233 MHz Celeron accidentally overclocked to 500 MHz end up permanently unstable and show a few scorch marks.

I'm kind of intrigued now... Got any links? :)

they used black powder cpus don't explode they melt and or burn or " rarely catch fire" but EXPLODING THEY DO NOT! cool vid tho O I feel sry for that AMD there solid chips

Hmm.. I searched some more and it seems that the video was a fake. So CPUs do not explode.
I think it is better this way for us Computer users. ;)
