Would thou be pleased by a Planetside - like Sauerbraten ?

I am having fun with the game Planetside, invasion. I was wondering if a Sauerbraten programing like this game would also passionate thou ?

Could be done with a single, honkin' huge map. I don't know if the netcode could handle it, but hey: At least you'll have contributed a really big map to the sauer community :)

With enough bandwidth, you could get up to 255 people on a server. Anything MMO is a freaking huge undertaking, and you'd be best listening to the wise (and experienced) words of aard and eihrul on this subject (try a search on this very forum).
