So how do we use these moving platforms in CVS?

Title says it all?

Look at src/fpsgame/game.h; the last four lines of the first enum give a little info on the attributes.

I also made a quick demo map of the entities. It's not exhaustive, just a little example of how each entity could be used. See it here: http://quadropolis.us/node/951 .

If you check out his demo, make liberal use of entproperty (shortcut is '.' key) to familiarize yourself with the different properties of the ents.

Alright thanks SheeEttin/MovingTarget. I'm looking at the demo map right now.

When I edit, I see the entities, but they don't have the model representing them visible.

All the platforms, elevators, and barrels are only for singleplayer. To start a map in singlplayer, instead of /map mapname, type /sp mapname.

I've followed the forum for a little while now, and all threads so far (as of what ive witnessed so far) have discussed the CVS usage for windows, is there any way for mac users or will I have to wait until the next release? :)

Download the CVS-files like it's written on the sourceforge-website and then open the Xcode-Project-file (/src/xcode/sauerbraten.xcodeproj) in Xcode and hit the "compile"-button.

I believe that's the "Build" button. But if there's actually a "Compile" button, that could be what I'm doing wrong.

Scratch that, there's no compile button. It would have to be a compile menu item.

Aaaah, no details please. =D ;)

Yeah, right, it's the "Build" button.
